The Nostalgic days of Yesterday

The nostalgia that surrounds me when I think of or recollect the events of the past a feeling engulfs me with precious memories of my youth as I reminisce those days of yesterday when being young and becoming involved in all sorts of mischief.
That old gang of mine I relate to as being the times of yesterday when we were right and didn’t know our life or course here on earth was predestined for us. Having sentimental feelings of those days of yesterday when we were in a quest to change the world forever.
So what has changed to lead me to believe that the world no longer is in danger of annihilating itself? Well for one thing, the devil no longer exists here on earth. The Lord resides among us for the devil no longer has power here on earth; the fire is out in hell no one goes there anymore.
It is time for us as the human race to unite as a whole people and work together harmoniously. We can build a new world together as a united people here on earth. Although diversity is quite prevalent among religions throughout the world, they all share a common bond with one another.
Whether we are Muslims, Jews, Christians, Buddhist, or whatever religion we choose to accept we all share the common bond of love for our neighbor. Yes love is the key to a better tomorrow if we let love enter into our lives we cannot go wrong.
“I believe in one God, and no more; and I hope for happiness beyond this life. I believe in the equality of man; and I believe that religious duties consist in doing justice, loving mercy, and endeavoring to make our fellow creatures happy.” Thomas Paine

So many times, I see religion being divisive. This was a welcome change! Thank you! Please log in to respond to this comment.
