All I want for Christmas

I suppose if I were younger, there would be many things on my Christmas list. I would wish for all sorts of toys and other presents galore.
However, at my age what I would like to see for Christmas is a world at peace. Yes what we sing about every Christmas season “Peace on earth good will toward men” imagine a world where all of us as the human family coming together in brotherhood.
Therefore, work and live for world peace for we must unite as one with the world. Let our pride be humbled this holiday season and give the gift of love to one another.
The kingdom of God is within you. Luke 17:21
The kingdom of God all begins with us as individuals for we must rise above our selfish ways and give to others the gift that keeps giving the gift of love and compassion.
This holiday season the Lord Jesus can be found very easily if we know where to look for him. He will not be found on a golden throne way off in outer space. We need not look any further than our hearts for he resides within us.
A world of peace is what I would love to see for Christmas. If we have peace then all other needs will be available to us. No more hunger and thirst but first be at one with the Lord.
“I heard the bells on Christmas day
Their old familiar carols play
And mild and sweet the words repeat,
Of peace on earth, good will to men.
I thought how as the day had come,
The belfries of all Christendom
Had roll'd along th' unbroken song
Of peace on earth, good will to men
And in despair I bow'd my head:
"There is no peace on earth," I said,
"For hate is strong, and mocks the song
Of peace on earth, good will to men." Henry Wadsworth Longfellow
