“If a man walks in the woods for love of them half of each day, he is in danger of being regarded as a loafer. But if he spends his days as a speculator, shearing off those woods and making the earth bald before her time, he is deemed an industrious and enterprising citizen.” Henry David Thoreau
Yes, God put on this planet many beautiful and breathtaking wonders that can leave us at awe with the world. Those of us who stop to smell the roses along the way do not take for granted nature’s beauty.
However stripping her without replenishing her with a means to reproduce more of what we have taken from her is surely wrong. We must replace a tree with a tree and so on. To be grateful and appreciative for her potential as useful material we as a people are responsible.
Our industrial foundation created to serve the needs of the people has benefited us as the human race a great deal. Here in the 21st. century we have explored and put to use most of all our natural resources. We are as a civilization quite dependent on our natural resources. We could not survive without them.
Therefore, take time to study nature’s magnificence and be grateful for its existence. For just as a simple clay brick before fired up to its potential for creating our skyscrapers, we must be grateful for nature’s abundance of raw materials made useful by man’s ingenuity.
“Keep close to Nature's heart. Break clear away, once in awhile, and climb a mountain or spend a week in the woods. Wash your spirit clean.” John Muir

this article rings so true. I've always worried about how we as people would replenish what we used of our world's natural resources. i hope in this age, we are more aware of the need to do so.
