What I Love about SearchWarp

by David Tanguay

I found SearchWarp in July of 2005 and I have been an active member since. What I love about SearchWarp is the freedom I have in expressing myself in my writing. I also believe it is good therapy for those who suffer from some sort of mental illness.

The founders and editors of SearchWarp Bruce and Jean Horst are very open-minded and allow all sorts of articles published on their site. Providing of course they are within the boundaries of decency i.e., they would not tolerate any type of porn on their web site.

The comments I receive from readers to my articles are mostly all positive and give me a great deal of incentive to promote my writing style.

When I first came across SearchWarp I was a very poor writer i.e., my grammar was bad so I bought a book on writing style and this helped me in my writing.

I would recommend SearchWarp to anyone interested in getting his or her ideas out in the open and published for public viewing.

What I also love about SearchWarp is the variety of articles written from authors from all over the world. I enjoy reading all sorts of interesting stories from all corners of the globe.

As their slogan goes “A place where I belong” yes I feel as though I belong to this writers community. I have made several friends here on SearchWarp although we have never met publicly I feel as though I know them personally.

I had the opportunity to meet and have lunch with Bruce and Jean and two of their three children last year when they were on vacation.

Dave Tanguay was born on November 8,1948 in Westbrook, Maine. The 10th. child of a family of eleven children. Served in Vietnam in the 60s, he became active with the youth movement of that day on completion of military duty. Now retired and living in Florida. (still believes in the young)

David I agree with you 100% I like the fact that I can express myself through my writing and I too love the comments I recieve. It gives me an incentive to keep on writing. I believe that the slogan "A Place Where I Belong" fits this website perfectly. I too feel that I know the other writers personally even though we have never met in person. I am so happy that I found a home with the SearchWarp family. God Bless You ALL!

I think it is a wonderful website for everyone, no matter what the situation and a great way to get your point across!

Writing is a great way to express yourself and not just for those who have emotional issues but for those who have physical ones as well and want to share their experiences with others.

I must say, David, that I greatly value your writing and experience. You are a terrific human being to be sure. Earlier I found out exactly what it is about you that's so fine - you hail from Maine. Don't know how long before you became a Floridian, but I admire you and will follow your articles much more closely time permitting. This SearchWarp thing is amazing in its own right because it has brought many of us together in writing. Enjoyable at that!
