We the people of the World

“To repeat what others have said, requires education, to challenge it, requires brains.” Mary Pettibone Pool

Throughout the history of our country, we have all been educated to the fabric of our existence as a people. To challenge our way of life is not a simple task to take on. For we have laws we must abide by and to change what we have always lived by can be very complicated indeed.

Our universities and colleges can educate us on the history of our nation how we came about and where we are going. However, to actually change the constitution we have always lived by requires a great deal of character on our part.

Of course, it is a fact that we must protect and preserve our constitution for every president we have had took an oath to do this. So one might ask, “What needs to be changed in our constitution?” well the preamble for one thing can be modified to read “WE THE PEOPLE OF THE WORLD” rather than we the people of the United States.

Yes to unite the whole world into one essential country all living under the laws that would apply to the entire world population, leaders from all over the world to rewrite the constitution to fit the needs of all of us as a people.

If we were to unite as one people throughout the world, there would be no need for war or any kind of conflict among us. As John Lennon sang in his song “Imagine” all the people living life in peace, yes let us dare to imagine.

To put an end to war once and for all to live in peace and love among our fellow man, I see this world in the near future only we must begin today to work for tomorrow. Not only do we say we can but rather we must!

The future of the world lies in our hands let us begin today to do the work that will determine the outcome of tomorrow.

“Let go of the past and go for the future. Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you imagined.” Henry David Thoreau

Great article, very well written. My question to you is- what is peace? How will our great nation achieve this? What about everything that comes with peace, i.e. Healthcare, jobs, homes, etc. If we can live in a world of peace, then let's include what needs to happen in our nation.

If we as a nation or world would live in peace everything else would fall into place.

Yay for you.

New Rule:

That which is hateful to you, do not do to your fellow.

This tenet is in any religion you follow. If only we would follow.
