Back from Vacation

My 8-day vacation to the beautiful state of Maine (God’s country) has ended.

I was born and raised in the state of Maine I have been living in Florida for 14 years now. I rather miss the snow in the wintertime as a kid we would always enjoy playing out in the snow.

I had a good time on vacation I have a lot of family still living in Maine. I visited quite a few of my relatives while there yes being in Maine brings back precious memories. I had my share of seafood while I was there from lobster to steam clams there is always an abundant amount of seafood to satisfy all cravings for food from the ocean.

I did not make it to Old Orchard Beach this year this time of year there is always something exciting going on there. Perhaps my next vacation I will make it there. I remember as a child my younger brother and I would go way up north in the wilderness on a hunting trip. My oldest brother would take us there; I got my first deer at the age of 14.

The state of Maine is growing fast there is always something new coming about. I will probably go back next year and do what I did not have time to do this year.

Vacations are good to take once in a while everyone should try to make time for vacations in there lifetime. So good-bye Maine until the next time

Dave Tanguay was born on November 8,1948 in Westbrook, Maine. The 10^th. child of a family of eleven children. Served in Vietnam in the 60s, he became active with the youth movement of that day on completion of military duty. Now retired and living in Florida. (still believes in the young)

That sounds good enough a vacation for you this year. I have mine coming up in October. Can't wait to explore where the city never sleeps.

Welcome back, Dave. Sounds like you had a great time. I'd imagine that it wasn't quite as hot in Maine as it is at your house?

Thank you Bruce, no I had good weather on vacation mostly in the high 70's a lot different than here in Florida where it's supposed to reach 100 degrees today.
