Although I was, a good math student science was my favorite subject in school. I began my education in a parochial school (St. Hyacinth) with nuns as our teachers science was a subject avoided in this school.
It wasn’t until I moved in the country and went to a public school that I was able to learn about science. Learning about our solar system and the many mysterious features of our universe fascinated me a great deal.
I made good grades in science for learning about the unexplained was always at the top of my agenda. As a teenager, I did believe in space travel i.e., exploring the universe and finding new planets with life on them.
However, in the early 70s I found Jesus and this did play an important role in my life. Although I still believe, there may be life on other planets I believe our planet earth has only one God or master and that is Jesus the son of God.
There may be life on other planets but with their own God. I do believe before we set out to conquer the universe we must first take care of our own ailing planet. Our planet is in bad shape today this is our home we must nurse it back to health.
The universe with its many wonders and mysteries still fascinate me however, I have come down from my ladder where I use to observe outer space to set my feet on solid ground and take a closer look at mother earth.
But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:33

Now, you would be hard pressed to get me to admit to there even being a god. What puts Christianity above other world religeons? Looking back through history, it is evident that Man has always needed 'something' to look up to. It is my belief that, diametrically opposite to what is taught in the Bible in that God made man, 'MAN MADE GOD' to be in his image, and in an effort to explain things like the changing seasons, night and day and plagues of locusts. Please log in to respond to this comment.I disagree with you Margaret, I use to be an atheist but I do believe in God today. I don't believe in the bible but I do believe in Jesus as the son of God. Thanks for commentingPlease log in to respond to this comment.
Absolutely we need to take care of Earth. We all need to, though, and it takes more than simple desire. Action is required. Believing in Masters makes you a servant, a slave to the Master you believe in.
Conquering the Universe means to take it over and control it.
Life doesn't conquer and control life. Life is always free from that. Live and let live not
conquer.
So, maybe we should not serve eachother but rather help each other.
And believe in spiritual beings as a god instead of a Master,,
Masters rule,,,,love doesnt. Please log in to respond to this comment.Well Kellie, I do believe I am a slave of our Lord. Only I consider that good not bad, for to serve Christ is my goal here on earth. Thanks for commentingPlease log in to respond to this comment.
