Thinking about Tomorrow

“The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.” Martin Luther King, Jr.

When everything is going right in our lives i.e., when all of our task fall into place without criticism from opposing views as we take on the world. We can acknowledge these times as being very convenient for us as individuals coping with the world.

However, in times of crisis such as the world turning against us as we live and work from day to day can be a hindrance on our lives. How we relate to outside influences on our lives in time of controversy is indeed a challenge to behold.

When those who criticize us and are determined to stop our progression into succeeding in our chosen field and bog us down from acquiring success as we work from one day to the next. Yes, critiques those who are out to stop us from success in our work field.

The road to success has many obstacles we must overcome for around every turn lies a mine ready to detonate if we move blindly through the minefields we are sure to become victims cut down in our quest for success.

As we live our lives, we try to do what is best in coping with the world and all of its hardships. As we play in the game of life, it’s not winning that matters it’s how we play the game that counts. Yes, life is a game we indulge ourselves in everyday. The many pleasures life deals us through the course of a day we also meet with the many hardships we endure through our journey.

Living for today without thinking about tomorrow only living one day at time is not always the best way to go. We must put the future on the top of our agenda for younger generations to uphold

“Change is the law of life. And those who look only to the past or present are certain to miss the future.” John F. Kennedy

We need to take care of the present so the future becomes secure. That is very rightly said. We must not get caught on with the present so much that we lose track of the consequences of our present actions. Thank you and great stuff again.

Interesting article, but the only thing I see about the future is doom and gloom at the moment. So I will continue to live for today. For the time being anyway!
