A Mother’s Day Tribute (Poem)

She was born on March 3rd. 1911
Today she is with the Lord - up in heaven
She bore 11 children - and raised them right
Through the days - and into the night
In front of a stove - preparing our meals
Was one of her - oh - so many appeals
Getting us all - off to school everyday
Was a task in itself - in which she did pay
Sunday church services - were a must
For in the Lord - she put all her trust
Memories are all - I have to this day
Reaching to her - is only with prayer
She has joined my father - in heaven above
Along with the Lord - they share their love
This mother’s day I offer to her - a tribute
The love I have for her - I will contribute
Thank you mother - for all you have done
This love I feel for you - as your loving son

I am so happy to be a mother and to still have my MOM in my life I dont know what I will do when the good lord takes her home. i loved this article.
