Building our Foundation with Bricks Thrown at us

“A successful person is one who can lay a firm foundation with the bricks that others throw at him or her.” David Brinkley

Bombarded with insults, gossip, and everything else thrown at us by those whom are out to win at whatever cost it takes to be victorious in their attacks on us.

However, every brick thrown at us has a story all by itself and when we analyze the situation we can see how we can use the blows delivered to us in our defense. For winning through misconception before seeing the facts and truth into the matter, is not the way to play the game.

The subject at hand is not to come out a winner or loser but to find the truth we live with. To rebuilt our way of life into a more gracious way of living with each other. So filled with envy and animosity are those who cannot bear humiliation by those they consider unbalanced and unfit to serve in society.

The world belongs to all of us rich, poor, white, black, our existence here on earth is a life we should all cherish. For our lives are at the hands of our creator without him we would not be here. To seek a better world to live in should be on the top of everyone’s agenda.

We are not here on earth for a free ride; we must earn our way through hard work and sharing our love and compassion with our fellow man.

Therefore let them throw bricks at us for in our heart and soul we know we are right. Just pick up the bricks and build our foundation with them. Every brick thrown at us come from our opponents brickyard when they run out of bricks they will see the grand masterpiece we built with their assaults on us.

That's right, David. Life has never been a pure bed of strawberries waiting for us to jump in and savor it. We always embrace the bricks that are thrown at our face and endure it. Luckily, it's not guns that are thrown at us. haha !

You are blessed with a lions heart and a noble spirit David. We have a choice in this life, to hide behind the parapet, hope nobody notices us and survive, or we can stand, tall and proud, risking the arrows and say, I will not accept your lies, or your selfish ways.

You are a star and I am proud to have stumbled across you David Tanguay.
