" Success is a journey, not a destination. The doing is often more important than the outcome." Arthur Ashe
As we live from day to day, we may encounter many challenges along the way. How we meet obstacles we face on our journey through life is how we determine our success. Success does not always mean financial gain, for our actions i.e. the way we conduct our behavior in certain circumstances determines how successful we are.
We cannot measure our success by the amount of money we have invested in our bank account but rather by the amount of work we do and the way we do our job. Our job is a part of our lives it determines how we react to life in general.
Those of us who choose to live for money alone and have no respect for humane development, which involves all of humanity, as a whole will miss finding true happiness for true happiness comes from an enrichment in our hearts and souls.
"It's time for greatness -- not for greed. It's a time for idealism -- not ideology. It is a time not just for compassionate words, but compassionate action." Marian Wright Edelman
Here in the 21st. Century with our advanced technology of computers, cell phones, automobiles not to mention our mass transit involving jet airplanes, and high-speed rails. We can travel anywhere in the world in a fraction of the time it took our ancestors.
Japanese (shinkansen) 500 series high-speed rail
Success is a mutual goal we all as human beings acquire and strive for as we take on the world with its entire splendor. Just being involved in the work field, we can consider ourselves a part of our ever-changing environment. To work to make the world a better place to live in should be the goal in all of us.

It's true, is so often preached by all former and Guru. But it is easy to say but difficult to practice or face-diffiult situation may be easy for those who have learned the art of controlling his mind. Under normal circumstances, the experience of failing does become unbearable for a person or a civilization. It's human nature. Please log in to respond to this comment.Thank you for commentingPlease log in to respond to this comment.
