Love Your Neighbor (Poem)

I have seen the dawning of a new horizon unfolding
It greeted me with new ideas - so very upholding
My search for peace of mind had finally arrived
What I found through all the turbulence has derived
All roads led to my new enlightenment of life
It cut into my heart - like a new sharpened knife
For I was awaken to the facts of life - and beyond
The whole world watched - to see how I respond
To do away with evil in the world was my goal
Let the Lord reside - and take complete control
The world is now free - from evil and fear
For love controls our lives - in our new frontier
Let us all awaken to this brand new day
For it could only happen here - in the USA
Love your neighbor - was his greatest command
Now we see this love - spread throughout the land
