God Wants to Talk to You (Poem)

When you feel the blues coming along

Let your memory dwell - on a happy song

We can find the world - full of sorrow and sadness

But we can deliver us up - from all of the madness

Let not your heart be troubled - by the times

For happiness resides - in our souls sometimes

The Lord indeed - works in mysteries ways

With him we are lifted up and give praise

Follow the beat - of your own heart

It will lead down a path - in which you are a part

For the world is ours - so stake your claim

It waits on our love - to anoint and tame

Our enemy is our neighbor though far away

Let us meet him with love, join, and pray

There is only one God - he is a god of love

Religions are combined to him - who reigns above

I don't even have to read your articles anymore to know that the message is grand!

As much hatred and divisiveness as is being preached from the pulpit these days, it leads me to believe that this concept is being approved from the very top. Guess there really isn't anything money can't buy.
