Creativity is Alive

" Conditions for creativity are to be puzzled; to concentrate; to accept conflict and tension; to be born everyday; to feel a sense of self." Erich Fromm
Creativity does not come easy for in a world of so much conflict and chaos it is difficult to focus on a subject, which needs to be unraveled. We must be re-born everyday to new heights of imagination to see ourselves as others see us.
There is a better way of living our lives rather than complaining about our misfortunes and blaming everybody but ourselves for the misgivings in our endeavors. No matter how often we are disappointed and beaten down there is always tomorrow to begin anew.
"The work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives and the dreams shall never die." Edward Kennedy
When we meet with failures we must not be discouraged for our concept to implement, our latest ideas come into focus. To let the world see what we see to awaken the most dubious minds as we invite the world to a new understanding.
"An intelligent person is never afraid or ashamed to find errors in his/her understanding of things." Bryant H. McGill
Our ideas and theories when reviewed by others can indeed bring about very practical criticism for to find errors in our work through other people's viewpoints we can only react by correcting our flaws then moving forward to our next phase.
Creativity is alive and lives within us we must cultivate our works and bring into fruition the outcome of our deeds. To dare to dream of a better world where all people live together without prejudice, or contempt. This dream is possible for I feel in in my gut we are on the verge of entering into a brand new day.

Thanks. That focus on the power, light and creativity within- pure Quakerism. Friend, JackPlease log in to respond to this comment.Well Jack, as I told you I don't practice any religion but I'll have to look into Quakerism .Did you know president Nixon was a Quaker? Please log in to respond to this comment.Sure. So was Hoover. So was James Dean, Annie Oakley, Walt Whitman, Ben Kingsley,Daniel Boone, Bonnie Rait, Susan B. Anthony, etc, etc. We're having our 300th anniversary here this year. I'm doing the historical research. I'm up to about a 100 pages and not half done. Friend, Jack.I don't have religion, most members of the Society of Friends do not. It's spiritualism. In our Meeting we have ex-Catholics, Budhists, Jews, Protestant Christians of all sorts, AA members who seek their Higher Power, agnostics galore, even wavering atheists. We all enjoy the experience of group meditation and the sensation of the presence of the Light Within, the Mind, the Spirit. It's a personal relationship with the higher power intensified by the group consciousness. Please log in to respond to this comment.Well said, a real self inquiry can't be beat. Please log in to respond to this comment.Thank you for commenting e.Please log in to respond to this comment.
