Imagination Unleashed

"The world is but a canvas to the imagination." Henry David Thoreau

The world is our home for as we reside in her this is where we make our dreams come true. When we see atrocities, occurring in all parts of the world it saddens us a great deal. We are constantly asking the question why. Why must there be wars where young men and women die?

Why can we not all live in peace with one another? When we use our imagination to make, our dreams come true i.e. to establish a world order where we can all live in peace and love where we can live harmoniously with one another.

The dream I speak of is not new to us for it has been the dream of countless of idealistic dreamers throughout the history of civilization. Yes if we could unleash our imagination and let this dream come into reality then we could see the world in a brand new light.

It all begins with us (the people) for we are presumably by our constitution to be a government of the people. We are supposedly the law of the land if we must be accounted for as the governing forces then we have it in our power see changes occur.

" Imagination is more important than knowledge. For while knowledge defines all we currently know and understand imagination points to all we might yet discover and create." Albert Einstein

Yes with imagination, we can make all of our dreams come true we must take the first step in bringing our dreams into reality. Some of us use our imagination greedily for we focus on our personal well being oh of course this is only natural however; we must bring our fellow man into the equation.

We all live together as a part of the human family we must look at ourselves as brothers and sisters. Now this way of thinking may be the beliefs of a pacifist well if pacifism is the belief of those whom are opposed to war and believe in peaceful negotiations then let it be known that I am a pacifist.

Our tour of duty on this planet by the power of God who created us is to make this world a better place to live in for our posterity and ourselves. The world needs all the help it can get from her inhabitants. We as the people of the world need to act accordingly.

We must embark on a mission of peace and love throughout the world. Yes, imagination can bring us the kind of world we all seek. When we unleash our imagination and let it, take control of our lives and then it will bring us the kind of world, in which we all want to be a part.

Nice article David. I think we both agree that peace and love has to begin with ourselves. We can imagine, but bringing true virtue to fruition requires tremendous understanding of our interior selves.

Good article David. We can change ourselves individually (although that sometimes seems daunting) and that is what needs to happen one person at a time - or maybe I should say open ourselves to change - God does a much better and quicker job it that change if we raise our arms and surrender, eh? hi david,
i've been pondering the same questions, especially since the kids went into the military, but also, throughout my life.
for almost every argument, there is a resolution, if we are committed to change and peace.
thank you for sharing-good article,
my best,
sue
