" No one, Eleanor Roosevelt said, can make you feel inferior without your consent. Never give it." Marian Wright Edelman
We as the human race find it so difficult to be ourselves. Most of us act out a plot to disguise our real, true identity.
Of course, we naturally fit into different categories such as poor, middle class, rich, powerful. Some of us are born into certain classes and some of us work to achieve a position in a particular class of people.
Then there are those of us whom are very well satisfied just being an average citizen. The ego we all do battle with can sometimes lead us to seek these eccentric behavioral positions in life.
We are all different by nature i.e. some of us are born into various classes. Although the declaration of independence we as Americans live by proclaims we are all created equal this may be true biologically however we are all different in our characters and in the way, we relate to other people in society.
In the military, we have what is known as "the chain of command" from the lowest class of rank such as a private all the way up to generals or the president of the U.S. our commander in chief.
If a soldier or one whom serves in the military has a problem, he or she has the right to speak to anyone through the chain of command who can help them with their problem.
In the business community, there are similar situations in the way we conduct our affairs. We may start out as a shipping clerk and work our way up to manager to president of the firm we work for.
From the hobo who lives on the street and lives his/her life by panhandling or stealing from the people in society, to the criminal who lives outside of the law, to the millionaire who resides in a mansion and has servants at their disposal to serve their needs. To the soldier who serves his country in wartime, we all inhabit the same planet we are all human and all have human needs.
We must never consider ourselves above others or inferior to others. A God watches over us and helps us if we seek his help.
"I like pigs. Dogs look up to us. Cats look down on us. Pigs treat us as equals." Winston Churchill
"When you meet someone better than yourself, turn your thoughts to becoming his equal. When you meet someone not as good as you are, look within and examine your own self." Confucius
