Solar power and windmills to generate power for future consumption is supposedly expected to be the energy source of tomorrow.

Solar power is the generation of electricity from sunlight. This can be direct as with photovoltaic

(PV), or indirect as with concentrating solar power (CSP), where the sun's energy is focused to boil water which is then used to provide power. The solar power gained from photovoltaic can be used to eliminate the need for purchased electricity.

Solar troughs are the most widely deployed

A windmill is a machine, which converts the energy of wind to rotational motion by means of adjustable vanes called sails. The main use is for a grinding mill powered by the wind, reducing a solid or coarse substance into pulp or minute grains, by crushing, grinding, or pressing. Windmills have also provided energy to sawmills, paper mills, hammer mills, and wind pumps for obtaining fresh water from underground or for drainage (especially of land below sea level).
