Feeling sorrow for all of our asinine behavior
Our sorrow may
end - solely because of our savior
Our sorrow may
Lord why have you stood by me - when I was so bad?
Trying to reconcile with you now - I feel so very sad

You died on the cross - so a new world could begin
Gave us hope for tomorrow - cleansed us of our sin

With directions, you gave us so we could start anew
You rid us of all evil - for your words were so true

Let us begin on our journey - in the new world order
Which you have chosen for us - you set up no border

We are as free as the bird that soars through the air
At night before we retire - we will kneel and say a prayer
