A new year is approaching and about to begin
To make it
alright this time - to try again

We ask in the name of the Lord - up above
To guide us through - with his eternal love

Will we succeed this time in making life better
Will he respond - if we write him a letter

We ask you our Lord - to let us all see your light
Let it shine on everyone- for it is so bright

To make the world a better place to live
With all the love - that is ours to give

Tomorrow with your help - it we all unfurl
