Show us the way dear God,- show us the way
As we live in this world we are often led astray

Temptations come in many various forms
We are often gobbled up in life's grisly storms

As we work to earn our daily bread to survive
We wonder is there another way to stay alive

Working often makes me wonder why
The fruits of my labor - the food I can buy

Life isn't always fair we can be dealt some serious blows
But we mustn't give in we must stay on our toes

The road to happiness isn't paved with goal
The journey is rough but we feel the comfort in our soul

Worldly are we whom seek simple pleasures
For in our heart - lies all of our treasures

If we walk with love - we find a true friend

So yes dear Lord show us the way
