"The cure for boredom is curiosity. There is no cure for curiosity." Ellen Parr
As a child, I remember gazing up at a star with a sense of awe. So many little blinking dots in the sky each one of them being a fiery sun just as our own sun in the sky. They form galaxies and are millions of light years away from each other.
There is an old adage that goes like this " curiosity once killed a cat" I believe this old saying is being unfair to all of the inquisitive minds out there. For curiosity is part of our nature without it we would still be living in caves.
The miracle of the essence of a tree for example has us baffling on the mere biology and structure of it as a creation of nature. How we can predict the weather by observing the leaves of a tree turning downward before a rainstorm.
Yes, the wonders of our planet earth and the heavenly bodies that makes up our universe keep us amazed , for curiosity is a natural trait we are born with. From the time we begin to explore the world and its many wonders.

hi david,i loved these thoughts, and i'm glad you shared them with us.growing up, everytime someone would say to me, "curiosity killed the cat", i'd say, "yeah, but it also brought it back."i love watching children, or dogs, or any animal, look at something curiously, not knowing what to think or do. and the best part, is when they make a move and are startled at the response.my best to you, suePlease log in to respond to this comment.
