Money Is Simply Fun

Here we stand a nation united yet so divided we are united by a common belief in freedom yet divided on the meaning of freedom. Living in everyday society freedom is doing as you please. Yet we are limited by what we can accomplish for money is required to fulfill all of our desires.
Therefore, we work to earn money to get us not only the necessities we need to survive but also to provide us with the ability to conquer our dreams. Money has always been the corner stone of our lives, without it there is little we can do in our money-based society.
Nevertheless, speaking realistically we know this kind of life is improbable and than again speaking enthusiastically we can say money is simply fun.
"Happiness is not in the mere possession of money; it lies in the joy of achievement, in the thrill of creative effort." Franklin D. Roosevelt
However, in today's world the average family man or woman who is out trying to feed their children can very easily lose sight of the fun money brings. Yes indeed some of these fathers and mothers may want to smack me on the head for making such a statement, that money is fun.
On the other hand, if these heads of the family were to hit the lottery they would indeed see how money could be fun.
Yes, there are many ways to get involved with the money game; playing the game by the rules can be fun.
To the criminal fighting the system he finds his life exciting fleeing from the law and trying to beat the system. Life is indeed a game we play the good and the bad all battling it out over money. The so-called good guys are not always all that good and the bad-guys are not always that bad.
Of course, in the political arena we also have two major parties doing battle with each other. The democrats and the republicans (money plays a major role within these two parties) both parties trying to take control of Washington where all of our laws are written and where the leadership of the people is controlled.
To the majority of us who play the game on the sidelines so to speak. We observe one another taking our positions in our great society. The news media brings us the highlights occurring all over the world. We are kept informed on how the rest of the world resides.
We may see bloodshed in other countries where peace is not a factor in everyday living. We may even see our own young men serving and dying in foreign countries.
Being human, we cannot seem to close ourselves off from the rest of the world. After all putting all differences aside we are all human if we could first master the act of living together without friction amongst ourselves as a people, leaving all hostility behind us then we could all participate in the game of life more joyously.
