Spring Is In The Air (poem)

by David Tanguay
Spring is in the air a time to come alive
Through the cold winter we did survive
Let us all heed to mother nature's calling
Precious memories of her we are recalling
Yes those around us can hear our voice
Crying out free and happy are we
From winter's cold grip - we did flee

Spring is filled with promises - for us to begin
To work for a better tomorrow - a feeling of peace within
Spring welcomes summer the temperature rises
Summer brings us - a variety of surprises
The summer goes by so quickly - then we know
That fall will come around and put on a show
Only to be followed by winter - again comes the cold
We live by mother nature's rules - as her season's do unfold

This was great David, and talk about a seasonal weather description. The flow and cadnence of this was very rythemic, and the story told was a great one....one cannot fight mother nature, all we can do is bask in her glory....and this my friend, was a wonderful story.
