Thank You Search Warp!

I have been a member of search warp for almost three years now. When I first began writing articles here on SearchWarp I was quite naive on my writing skills, my grammar was bad and I had a hard time to get my point across.
Therefore, I bought a book on grammar and writing style; I am still off on my grammar at times however, I did learn a lot. Sometimes a reader will correct me on bad grammar, which I do appreciate. For how else can one learn but by being put aware of their mistakes.
In early 1972, I was admitted to a V.A. hospital on a psychiatric ward. I have had mental problems for over thirty years now. However I find writing articles is a very good therapy it gives me a chance to bring out my ideas and feelings about my condition in text. I am also benefited by comments some readers leave. Good or bad, I am thankful for other views on my articles.
I am also benefited by reading many articles here on SearchWarp. Some of the authors are very intelligent and I learn a lot from reading their work. Some of them although we have never met personally I feel like I know them quite well by reading their work.
I'm closing with a thank you to the WearchWarp editors and authors for giving me this opportunity to write freely what I feel.

Hi David, I was thinking this same thing over the last few weeks. I have enjoyed your poems and stories and agree with you when it comes to thanking SW for the freedom to express our thoughts and view and sometimes silly tales that do nothing more than give us a smile or two to make our day. God bless you and keep you safe each and every day! Please log in to respond to this comment.Thank you for commenting TeresaPlease log in to respond to this comment.

Hi Mr. Tanguay, the pleasure has certainly been ours!
As one of the early members of this site, much of the warm, welcoming feeling that many here report is due in some part to your contributions over the years.
You should add your birthday to the site so on that day, we can declare it "David Tanguay" day.

I think writing helps alot of people to really express how they feel. If writing comes from the heart, then it is an glimpse into a person soul and how they see the world. I definately agree that this sort of expression can heal and help us through even difficult times...Please log in to respond to this comment.Yes Stacey, writing can help one to get his or her feelings out in the open.
