A newborn baby's cry as it enters into the world

The cry announcing the arrival of life which brings -

Joy to the mother's heart.

Now the newborn child's life begins to unfurl

For now another life will play its role and become a part

The journey from birth to death takes on many forms

There are many pathways in which we choose to walk

Some follow dreams while others brave the storms

In all - we are all passengers - onboard this planet we all flock

From the day, we make our debut into the unexplained

What we've learned from our journey through this land

Is the fact we are never completely free - our souls are chained

We are mere servants of our Lord - we are at his command

Yes, we are free to follow our calling whatever it may be

We laugh and we cry - as we try to understand

In the role we play,- we find it much easier to fall on bended knee

For the Lord knows our deepest secretes - our life is all planned
