Boa Constricter,How Much Can You Hold?

In his everybody loves a nut album Johnny Cash sings a song titled "Boa Constrictor" it's a humorous song about a man being swallowed by one of these snakes. I bought the record back around 1965 it has humored generations of my nephews and nieces, especially at the end of the song when he burps.

Well anonymous, I perhaps didn’t give too much information about the story. As I pointed out I bought the record in 1965 I was only a teenager back then. The writer, well singer Johnny Cash speaks for himself. I don’t really know what else to add, the song (story) also speaks for itself. One would have to listened to it sung to get the real meaning behind it. “Thanks for commenting”

Well Susan, I rarely meet anyone who recalls this perticular song. It was never on any radio stations, one would need to have the record. But I remember you telling me that your father was a Johnny Cash fan, so he must have had this record. Yeah little kids get a kick out of listening to it especially the part where he burps at the end. "thanks for commenting"

david, i think you sparked my memory-i know my father did have the record, but more so, i also think now i heard this song on a kids' show when my kids were young. sue
