I recently read an article by Avis Ward an author on Search Warp relating to the 1991 beating of Rodney King by Los Angeles police. The rioting that occurred afterwards when the police officers were acquitted from any wrong doing. King made a statement back then, a very simple statement however a very powerful and precise statement when he said “Can’t we all just get along"

Now what should we do? Seek counseling when we don’t understand the reason why we can’t all get along. Are these politicians running for office a superior breed of men and women who know what is best for us the people? The sane cannot make any sense of what they are saying. Yes I say the “sane" not the ignorant.
A college degree in political science or psychology does not give these politicians and psychiatrist the right to rule over the people. We all have to eat, drink, sleep, and cope with all other functions we as human beings have to deal with.
Oh sure the wise may say, “It’s (life) all a game with rules we must abide by" therefore many of us are escaping reality by joining it. What is the other reality I speak of that we are escaping? The other reality I speak of is a united world. Where we all live harmoniously, yes why say it isn’t possible? If politicians would stop telling us that there are evil men in the world, we must fight and kill. Will Rogers once said, “I never met a man I didn’t love"
I believe all men and women have love only some prefer to use their minds over their hearts. Why does everyone or mostly everyone try to out due their neighbor? We all recognize a bit of ourselves in others this is where a conflict my arise. For the characteristic, we see in others being flamboyantly displayed we are striking blows at ourselves only using another person as a victim of our own imperfections. We must stop seeing the negative in others and begin recognizing the positive
“Love is but the discovery of ourselves in others, and the delight in the recognition." Alexander Smith
